Education

A large portion of the FFA SAFE project is education:

  1. A CURRICULUM is being developed to provide students with valuable GIS and GPS skills needed to complete the project.
  2. TEACHER TRAININGS will train teachings in the use of geospatial technologies.
  3. STUDENT SUMMER CAMPS will provide hands-on exposure to both geospatial technology and the field mapping process.

FFA SAFE training also fulfills some of the Act 48 requirements for teacher credits.
